In 1984 Arthur began teaching students at London’s acclaimed Goldsmiths College and for the past 6 years graduates at Westminster University’s Commercial Music Course. The wealth of experience brought from playing in the commercial music world being the creative force behind much of his teaching. Arthur's page at Goldsmiths can be found here.
Private teaching too has been increasingly in demand and now and having moved to Brighton from South London, he can bring his experience to bear whether it be one to one with students in the beginning throws of learning or the more advanced player.
Music theory as well as unique styles from jazz to classical can be covered, while at all times, encouraging the students to explore their own choices and influences.
